Hey, team! We wanted to lift up Mike’s message below about the importance of grassroots fundraising right now, especially as we near our first quarterly FEC deadline of 2020 on next Tuesday at midnight.
We need to be able to keep up the momentum and continue to out-raise Cindy Hyde-Smith if we’re going to send Mike to fight for us in the U.S. Senate this November.
Will you (only if you can afford to) pitch in $10 or more today to help us hit our goal? [[link removed]]

Dear friend,

In light of the growing pandemic of the coronavirus or COVID-19, daily life in America has drastically changed for many of us as we work to contain the virus and “flatten the curve.”

If you’re not already, experts suggest that people across the country should be taking preventative measures such as social distancing, avoiding physical contact with others, thoroughly washing your hands and cleaning surfaces, and staying home if you feel sick.

As a result, we’ve already seen things like major sports leagues postpone their seasons, television shows and the last Democratic presidential debate filming without live audiences, and schools, daycares, workplaces, and faith centers closing down or going remote until further notice.

But just as it’s taking a toll on our daily routines, this public health emergency is making fundraising for our campaign a lot harder, too. In order to protect Mississippians’ health, my campaign has canceled or postponed upcoming in-person events, which is the right thing to do, but it also makes online donations from folks like you all the more impactful.

Now that we’re moving ahead to the general election to take on hyper-partisan Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith in November, we’re right around the corner from our first post-primary FEC filing deadline.

I’m hoping that with enough grassroots support from online contributions of $5, $10, or whatever folks can afford, we can hit our goal and stay on track to out-raise Hyde-Smith this quarter so that we can ultimately win this race and create a brighter future for Mississippi together.

With that in mind, and only if you’re able, will you make a contribution to our people-powered campaign for U.S. Senate today?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your contribution will go through immediately:

Thank you, and please try your best to stay safe and healthy.

Mike

PS – I know this is an unprecedented and challenging time for many families, so please only pitch in if you can afford to do so. It’s more important for you to take care of yourself and your loved ones during this public health emergency.
