Dear Friend,
Vlatko Uzevski began his tenure at Project HOPE as a volunteer, while he was still a medical student. Today he is a Project HOPE regional manager and parent living in Macedonia. He’s spent more than a decade saving lives and improving care in the region.
“I’ve seen firsthand what it means when someone sees a doctor for the first time after 40 years — for someone to have medicine they’ve never had. It’s a really fulfilling thing. It’s a great feeling to be there, to see that, and to see the joy of these people. Because without health, nothing matters,” Vlatko explains.
At this second, with a unprecedented strain on healthcare systems around the world, there are parents afraid their child will die without the insulin they desperately need, mothers who fear their babies won’t survive without incubators to help them grow, and nurses struggling to provide care without the supplies they need. Thanks to the compassion of people like you and our partners, we can get urgently needed medicines, training and aid to the people who need them now.

We are constantly prioritizing these needs and supplies so they can be shipped ASAP.
When you take a moment to send your message of hope, the team members and volunteers at the other end — people like Vlatko who spend their lives bringing health care to their communities — will know that your heart is with them.
Your message could be airlifted along with lifesaving ventilators, sent to a small clinic in Kosovo or arrive with supplies in the Bahamas. Wherever your message lands, everyone who sees it will know that your kindness helps make every lifesaving shipment possible.
Yours Gratefully,
Rabih Torbay
President and CEO
