And when Missouri’s working families and everyday communities were getting gutted by outsourcing and corporate consolidation, Josh helped Wall Street and Corporate America cut overtime pay for hundreds of thousands of Missouri workers.

But Missourians are taking notice. They don’t like what they’ve seen from Hawley. And now even Donald Trump knows Josh is in trouble.

Our state deserves a U.S. Senator who we can trust will stand up and fight for working people, not for himself. That’s why I’m running against Hawley this year — and it’s why our record-breaking, worker-led, and people-powered movement has already made this a margin-of-error race in multiple public polls.

I didn’t learn the meaning of sacrifice and commitment from working late nights in the boardrooms of a corporate law firm like Josh Hawley did. I joined the Marine Corps to honor and serve the community that took care of my family after we were bankrupted by my littlest sister’s medical bills.

We’ve both taken an oath. But unlike Josh, I haven’t broken mine.

Over the last year, we’ve built a record-breaking, worker-led, people-powered movement to defeat Josh Hawley and take this Senate seat back for Missouri’s working families.

We’ve united organized labor behind our campaign. We’ve held events with hundreds of supporters at a time across rural, urban, and suburban Missouri. And we’ve raised more in the first year of a U.S. Senate race than any other challenger has in Missouri history, with donations coming from every single Missouri county — and without a cent from corporate PACs.

Now we’re once again seeing Josh Hawley run scared.

Multiple polls show this race already within the margin of error. And on top of that, a new poll from Morning Consult just weeks ago found Josh Hawley has the lowest approval rating of any GOP U.S. Senator running for re-election in 2024 — even worse than Ted Cruz in Texas and Rick Scott in Florida.

This is our only chance to hold Hawley accountable — and it could be your opportunity to make a real difference in this year’s election.
