I am Proud to be the Only Candidate Endorsed by Planned Parenthood!

Friends -

In this State Senate race, two of the nation’s leading advocates for reproductive health care vetted the candidates and decided to endorse just one candidate.

I am proud to have the sole endorsement of both Planned Parenthood Northern California Action Fund and Reproductive Freedom for All (formerly NARAL-Pro Choice).

With Roe v. Wade overturned, and with abortion and reproductive freedom on the ballot throughout the country, California must continue to lead the way in expanding health care education, family planning, and access to safe abortions.

We trust these organizations to defend abortion rights and reproductive healthcare, and I am honored that they trust me to be their champion in the State Senate.

Last week, Judith Myers, President of the Progressive Women of Napa Valley, published a letter in the Napa Valley Register explaining why this powerhouse group of women is supporting my candidacy.

“Of the three candidates interviewed, Cabaldon brings great experience that far outweighs that of the other candidates for this office. He reflects a deep understanding of the needs of this wide-ranging District, ranging from the big city issues of Vallejo to the rural interests of Yolo County and will ably represent the unique interests of Napa County in Sacramento.”

Bay Area Reporter Backs Our Campaign!  

This week, I was humbled to receive the sole endorsement of the Bay Area Reporter’s Editorial Board.

In making their endorsement, the editorial board wrote, "Cabaldon would ably represent Senate District 3, and we need his voice in Sacramento to fight not only for LGBTQ people and families, but also for all his constituents."

With one of our region’s Senators, Susan Talamantes Eggman (D-Stockton), terming out, there will be no LGBTQ+ representation from the Sacramento/Central Valley region in the Legislature's upper chamber unless we win this election! There has never been an LGBTQ+ state senator from the Filipino American or Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. But Team Cabaldon is here to change that.

Majority of American Canyon City Council Endorses!

This week my campaign announced American Canyon Mayor Leon Garcia, Vice Mayor David Oro and City Councilmember Pierre Washington have thrown their full support behind our campaign! Together, they represent a majority of the American Canyon City Council!

I am proud to be supported by such dedicated and effective leaders in Napa County’s second largest city. Our small and medium size cities need leaders that understand what makes each of our communities unique – and what connects us all. From keeping our communities safe, protecting our open spaces and working lands, to preserving the quality of life that makes our region so special. I look forward to the opportunity to work closely with American Canyon leaders to make a difference on the issues that impact real people.
