I grew up in Queens, New York. The city’s vibrant neighborhoods remain special to me — which is why I was horrified when George Santos was elected to represent MY OLD DISTRICT in 2020!

Many of you know that I love the music of the 50’s & early 60’s. I grew up in a time when “The Great Pretender” wasn’t George Santos!!!

Late last year, Santos was expelled from Congress after engaging in so much lying and fraud even Republicans couldn’t ignore it! New York is holding a special election to fill his seat, and early voting starts today.

Polls show a razor thin race. The Democratic nominee is Tom Suozzi — a former Congressman and a proven Social Security champion. The Republican nominee, Mazi Pilip, was handpicked by the local MAGA Republican machine.

We need to make sure George Santos is replaced with a Social Security champion, NOT a MAGA extremist. Split a contribution of $5 between Suozzi’s campaign and Social Security Works today.

Suozzi has a track record of fighting for seniors. Based on his time in Congress, he has a 97% pro-retiree score from our friends at the Alliance for Retired Americans.

Like George Santos before her, Mazi Pilip has no track record at all — and she’s refusing to participate in even a single debate with Suozzi. That’s how scared she is to talk about her real positions.

Instead of talking about Social Security, drug prices, or any other issues that impact seniors, she is parroting FOX News lies about Suozzi and the Democratic Party.

Right now, Republicans have a razor thin majority in the House. Flipping this seat is key to limiting MAGA Mike Johnson’s power, and taking back the House next November!
