I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you regarding our latest social media success at ARC. Two of our organization’s recent Instagram reels, aimed at humanizing the experience of working with formerly incarcerated individuals, have each garnered over one million views!
The tremendous engagement we’ve seen not only reaffirms the importance of our mission but also indicates a much larger audience than we initially anticipated. This newfound interest presents us with a unique opportunity to reach and impact an even broader audience, furthering our narrative change efforts and our leadership positions in this space.

At ARC, we’ve always believed that proximity to currently and formerly incarcerated people is key to driving meaningful change. While we may not be able to welcome everyone into our physical office, our housing sites, or the prisons we lead programming in, our social media platforms serve as powerful tools to bring individuals closer to our mission of ending mass incarceration. We’re proud of the impact our content has had in driving important conversations around criminal legal reform and the way it has cemented the importance of fostering a sense of inclusion for formerly incarcerated individuals in the workforce and beyond.
We are deeply grateful for the support and interest shown by our community, and we are committed to continuing our efforts to drive positive change in how we speak about and view formerly incarcerated people.
