Friend,

It's Black History Month, and Bill Pascrell has been fighting for racial justice, equality, and progress not just one month out of the year, but his entire career.

For over 20 years, Bill was blessed to serve with one of his personal heroes, Georgia Congressman and civil rights hero John Lewis. Congressman Lewis taught him that growing as a people takes unceasing self-reflection, and that blossoming as a nation is a constant act of regeneration. And it also requires what he calls “good trouble.”

Each day, Black Americans find their lives under threat by the very people and institutions meant to protect them. Millions of Black Americans are rightly angry, frustrated, and tired because of the injustices they face. Racism rears its ugly head in every aspect of our country — health care outcomes, voting rights, pollution exposure, even taxes — Black Americans are three to five times more likely to be audited by the IRS. And our country has seen devastating acts of racially motivated violence. Systematic change is badly needed.

Bill Pascrell knows that ending racial inequality must come from the top. In his lifetime of service, Bill has led his colleagues to urge support for embracing change that will benefit all of us — especially Black Americans. The time for action is now.

As we celebrate the achievements and history of Black Americans this February, will you support Bill's reelection campaign to continue fighting for progress, racial justice, and equality? He's not slowing down in this fight, friend. [[link removed]]
