Culinary Union is fighting and winning for workers on the Strip and Downtown! But we aren’t done yet.
In the last 5 days, the Culinary and Bartenders Unions have settled contracts & reached tentative agreements with 12 casinos: Treasure Island, Plaza, Circa, The D, Golden Gate, El Cortez, Sahara, Rio, Binion’s, Four Queens, Fremont, & Main Street.
Only 3 casinos are left. Virgin Las Vegas on the Strip and Golden Nugget and Downtown Grand in DTLV.
Today, big table negotiations is happening with Golden Nugget, but meanwhile at Downtown Grand this is what is happening…
The general manager, Andrew Economon, came out to the picket line to surveil and video record workers on the picket line.
GM Andrew brought his own bullhorn to the Downtown Grand picket line, where workers are picketing as they fight for a contract.
Come after your shift today and support workers on the picket line at Golden Nugget and Downtown Grand.
