John, the Senate Leadership Fund (SLF), Mitch McConnell’s super PAC, just made the first big TV ad buy of the cycle—in Montana.
SLF dropped over $50 million on Montana airtime in what is a clear attempt to drown us out during a critical period in the election year. We expect that number to only increase.
We’re not surprised because this super PAC’s only goal is to secure the gavel for Mitch McConnell, and flipping Montana’s Senate seat is key. But if we don’t prepare for their barrage of ads now, we won’t have the resources we need to respond in the fall.
John, if you’ve been waiting for the right time to get involved, this is it.
If we lose Montana, we lose our majority. Will you rush a contribution right now to help us compete with wealthy outside groups and reelect Jon Tester? We can’t overcome the outrageous spending without your help.

Thank you for stepping up today.
—Team Tester
As a third-generation Montanan and the U.S. Senate’s only working dirt farmer, Jon Tester is committed to protecting the Montana way of life.
In the Senate, Jon takes his cues from the rural communities, veterans, and working families that elected him—not special interests or super PACs.
