Hi
I want you to know that we are doing everything we can to keep providing our service, for as long as we can, for families in need while respecting the health and safety guidance on COVID-19.
We've been asked to support 218 babies and children. 72 of those requests are for babies already born or due in the near future.
We can’t turn our backs and forget about them.
The families we help are already suffering. How are they going to cope in this crisis?
Will you please help by donating money today? This is the best and safest way for you to get behind us and these families right now.

I know it’s an awful time for so many people but I want to assure you that every single dollar really helps.
$30 can provide a linen bundle. A pram or car restraint is $115 and a cot with a mattress is $187. Or you can choose any amount that suits you right now, I promise it will make a difference.

For now, we are still able to serve social workers and help families in need.
However, we have restricted the number of staff allowed in the warehouse. We have asked our volunteers to not come in at all. And we have temporarily suspended all goods donations at all of our locations, including our volunteer drop off points.
We have been able to provide most families with the items they need this week. But we are finding it more difficult every day to keep up with the urgent demand we are faced with.
We won't have enough prams, car seats, cots and nappies to meet the current need, let alone what the increased need might be be as families lose income.
Luckily we can purchase new car seats, cots and prams at cost price if we raise enough money tonight.

Below is a picture of the small number of car seats we have ready to go. I’m so used to seeing this area packed.

I’m so scared for all the families in need right now. Scared about how they’ll get their baby home from hospital. Or where they’ll sleep. Or if they’ll have suitable clothing to wear.
And we have to remember, babies don’t stop being born during a pandemic.
During times like this, our service becomes even more crucial and I know the number of requests we receive are going to increase in the coming months.
We need to keep supporting the most vulnerable people in our community right now. please stand beside me today and donate anything you can to support these families.
Thank you so much in advance.
Warm regards
Julia
