Team,

Folks often ask us why we send so many emails. And it’s a fair question.

Take last month’s fundraising deadline. If your inbox looked anything like ours, then we wouldn’t blame you if you thought the sky was falling!

We’ll never scam you with eyebrow-raising, bone-chilling subject lines or outlandish claims about how you’re letting Democrats down if you don’t donate right this second. We’d never do that.

But to address the question — re-electing Mikie and retaking the House majority is going to be expensive. Extremely expensive.

For one, we’re running in the most expensive media market in the country. That means spreading Mikie’s message and ensuring New Jersey voters know about her accomplishments requires huge investments.

And ever since the Supreme Court’s ruling in Citizens United, the floodgates have opened for dark money groups and shady megadonors to play an outsized role in our elections. That means Speaker Mike Johnson-aligned and GOP super PACs are free to spend whatever they please to boost their extremist opponents and launch attack ads that mischaracterize Mikie’s record.

To ensure we can go up on the airwaves — and compete with outside spending — we depend on grassroots donations from folks like you. People who chip in $10, $25, or even $5 at a time to emails like the one you’re reading right now.

That’s why we reach out often. We know we can’t donate every time we ask, but we mean it when we say that the donation itself is so much more important than the amount you give.

That's why we're politely asking: Will you pitch in $10 today to help us re-elect Mikie and flip the House blue?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Thanks for chipping in. Your donation, no matter the amount, is so important — because when folks on this grassroots team join you, it adds up quickly to create something special.

Thank you,

Mikie Sherrill HQ
