John,

We need to talk about international students.

This is a program that has been massively expanded under the Trudeau government.

Since Trudeau took office in 2015, the number of international students has grown from 352,330 to a MASSIVE 807,750 in 2022.

We still don’t know the official numbers for 2023 but some sources put it at over one million.

Almost half these students come from just two countries: India and China, with more than 300,000 coming from India alone!

Keep in mind these figures are NOT factored into Trudeau’s 500k immigration quota.

These are in addition to standard immigrants and temporary foreign workers, which explains why Canada’s true annual immigration number is closer to 1-1.2 MILLION.

This program is supposed to give foreigners access to our superior education system, and maybe allow a small portion of them to become permanent residents because they fall in love with Canada.

But increasingly this is just another pathway for economic migrants to game the system.

Many of these so-called students have no interest in what they are studying. They just want a visa to enter the country so they can secure a job and get on a pathway to permanent residency.

Let me give you a couple examples.

First I want to tell you about A1 Global College in Mississauga.

A1 Global College is run by Vishal Manocha, who just happens to also be an immigration lawyer — what a coincidence!

A1 Global College markets itself like a real post-secondary institution with a bustling campus, hundreds of students, and beautiful buildings.

But in reality, it is located in a Mississauga strip mall, and only has a few rooms.

It is a front to circumvent our immigration quotas and bring more economic migrants to Canada passing for international students!

Many students don’t even finish their fake college programs. They arrive in Canada, find a job and drop out of their fake college.

And they have the President of their “college” who happens to also be their immigration lawyer to guide them through the process!

The second example I want to point out is Conestoga College in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Not long ago, Conestoga was a small and well respected college.

But in the last 3 years alone they have grown rapidly, increasing their total enrollment from 20,000 in 2020 to more than 42,000 in 2023.

This rapid growth is entirely driven by international students.

The student population of Conestoga is now more than 70% international students!

Many of these students are in basic one-year programs for silly things like hair-styling which they don’t even complete!

They find a job working security or at a fast food restaurant and drop out of school because their employment puts them on a path to permanent residency.

“Why is Conestoga doing this?” you might be wondering.

It all comes down to profit.

They see international students as cash cows and they are milking them for all they are worth.

The real tragedy is the impact this greedy decision has on the surrounding area.

This massive influx of foreigners has completely transformed what was previously a quaint university town — it is almost unrecognizable.

It has driven up rent and housing costs. Young Canadians born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo are priced out of the market and forced to move.

Food banks and other social services are stretched to their limits.

It is time for the government to step in and defend the interests of Canadians!

At the beginning of 2024, after much public pressure, the Trudeau government finally brought in new regulations to clamp down on international students — but they don’t go nearly far enough.

Meanwhile, Pierre Poilievre is actually criticizing Trudeau for addressing this problem! For him, it’s just another opportunity to pander to immigrant communities.

The only party ready to address the immigration crisis is the People’s Party of Canada.

We need to radically reduce the number of foreigners entering our country each year, focus on cultural integration instead of multiculturalism, and PUT CANADIANS FIRST.
