Friend,

Earlier today, Governor Holcomb spoke directly to Hoosiers, and he had a message for us:

“I’ve signed another Executive Order that calls on all Hoosiers to hunker down, stay at home…unless you’re going out on an essential errand, or essential work or essential business and operations.”

In order to protect our fellow Hoosiers – our neighbors, our family, our friends and our most vulnerable – we’re called on to hunker down.

But Governor Holcomb also has a message for those Hoosiers out there who are called to serve in these difficult times – who can’t hunker down – our healthcare workers, our grocery store clerks, and all those aiding in the public response:

That message is thank you.

Thank you to:

• Healthcare workers pulling double shifts.
• General Motors, which is redeploying its Kokomo workforce to produce ventilators.
• Breweries and distilleries that are converting their businesses to produce hand sanitizer.
• Manufacturers donating their protective gear to hospital and the state.
• Businesses that have gone to multiple shifts to spread out their workforce.
• Union shops asking their contractors to drop off the needed items our hospitals.
• Restaurant owners, who are adapting to a new “to-go only” business model.
