WEEKLY UPDATE February 2nd, 2024 Dear Kansas friends, Thank you for your interest in receiving my newsletter. Please feel free to share this with your friends and family. Fighting for Pro-Growth Policies We must fight for a pro-growth agenda in Washington that puts businesses and workers back in the driver’s seat of our economy. That starts with getting the federal government off the backs of businesses in Kansas and across the country. Watch HERE Cracking Down on Illegal Immigration There have been over a million cases of illegal immigrants stealing social security numbers to receive federal benefits. This is a slap in the face to hardworking Americans. I voted for bipartisan legislation last night to immediately deport illegal immigrants who try to steal from our seniors and defraud the United States. I voted for the Agent Raul Gonzalez Safety Act to create new criminal offenses for individuals who engage in high-speed car chases in an effort to flee Border Patrol. It's time to crack down on traffickers, cartels, and other illegal immigrants who continue to break our laws and threaten the safety of our communities & law enforcement officers. Food Security = National Security Food security = national security. I will always fight to ensure Kansas farmers have the support they need from the federal government. That means protecting crop insurance, opening new export markets, lowering soaring input costs, and rolling back costly Biden regulations. Listen to my full interview on KMAN Radio HERE Stopping the CCP in Kansas I joined KVOE Radio in Emporia to talk about securing the southern border and why it’s so important that we stop the Chinese Communist Party from buying land near our military bases and infiltrating our supply chains in Kansas. Listen to my full interview on KVOE Radio HERE 2024 Kansas Commodity Classic Fantastic time talking to Kansas farmers and ranchers at the 2024 Kansas Commodity Classic last week! I reassured folks that I would fight for a Farm Bill that protects crop insurance, rolls back costly regulations, and helps our rural communities grow. Meeting with KU and K-State Students It was great meeting with students from KU and K-State in the Capitol today. Kansas is in good hands with this next generation of leaders!
