Dear Hawaii Trump Supporters,
We are writing to inform you about an urgent matter that requires our immediate attention.
The Hawaii Democrats are pushing for a hearing next week Tuesday, February 6, 2024 of a single bill sponsored by Hawaii Senator Karl Rhodes. Although this bill does not explicitly mention President Trump, its reference to the insurrection clause of the U.S. Constitution seems to allude to the events of January 6th, with the objective of potentially removing President Trump from the Hawaii ballot.
Regrettably, instead of prioritizing the numerous critical issues currently facing Hawaii, the Democrats appear to be solely focused on disenfranchising voters by disqualifying President Trump from running in the 2024 Hawaii election as a Republican candidate.
Considering this situation, however, we want to assure Trump supporters that the Hawaii Trump Campaign is fully committed to addressing this matter in a civilized, fair, and peaceful manner. We are working closely with the national Trump Campaign to handle this situation with the utmost diligence it deserves.
With that said, we firmly believe in the power of civil discourse and peaceful demonstrations, and we want to emphasize the significance of upholding these principles. Additionally, we must stress that any form of disorderly conduct or uprising in response to this bill will not accurately represent the genuine supporters of our campaign. Therefore, let us approach the upcoming hearing with composure and respect for the process, even amidst this challenge.
We kindly request that you submit written or oral testimony that is both methodical and substantive, demonstrating alignment with our shared values and goals. By presenting our arguments articulately and maintaining a measured decorum, we can effectively present our case.
