Tonight marks the 17th Shabbat since October 7. 136 hostages remain captive in Gaza as Hamas drags on this horrific nightmare for their families and the nation.
As the war enters its fourth month, Israel is defending its citizens from attacks on all fronts. This week, the Jewish state was attacked from Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen – where today Houthi terrorists launched a ballistic missile toward Eilat. The IDF

shot down the missile using a long-range Arrow interceptor, the fifth time Arrow has destroyed an incoming ballistic missile since the war began.
The United States has invested over $4.5 billion in the Arrow program – a direct byproduct of our work together to ensure Israel has the technologies and resources to defend against any combination of threats.
As this war continues and the attacks on Israel mount, it is imperative that Congress delivers on the $14.3 billion emergency package for Israel’s security. The Senate is working through the weekend to finalize the broader bill, which includes this vital funding, and could be voted on starting as early as next week.
Urge your senators to support the full $14.3 billion for Israel – and to oppose Senator Chris Van Hollen’s dangerous amendment to add conditions on this vital aid.

IDF destroys explosives lab in Khan Yunis
Israeli troops continue to operate in the western part of Khan Yunis to eliminate remaining Hamas cells in the area and destroy their terror infrastructure. Today the IDF killed numerous armed terrorists and located an explosives lab, weapons stockpiles, RPGs, and other tactical gear.
In central Gaza, the IDF destroyed a rocket production complex and seized money, cash and bonds worth millions of dollars. Combat teams also uncovered documents showing how Hamas illicitly transfers funds.

The 81-year-old woman who climbed out the window to escape Hamas
Jaqueline Glicksman was hiding in her safe room when Hamas terrorists stormed into her home on October 7 and set it on fire. Fleeing for her life, the elderly widow jumped out of a window and ran nearly a mile, managing to escape the terrorists and reach safety.
This week, Glicksman returned to what was left of her ravaged house – nearly four months after the massacre. "This is my home," she said. "I have no other."

Relearning how to live
Ella and Dafna Elyakim, sisters ages 8 and 15, were taken hostage on October 7 from their father’s house in Kibbutz Nahal Oz. The terrorists streamed the attack on Facebook Live, recording the family seated in their living room after shooting their father Noam in the leg.
Noam, his partner Dikla, and the sisters’ stepbrother Tomer, were murdered.
Ella and Dafna were released on November 26. Now they are sharing their story.
