A Year of Action!

Friends, 

2024 must be a year of action! We have so much to do and it is happening fast, and we need you to be a part of our efforts. This is one of the most important election years in recent memory, and Republicans need to come together. Here are two things you can do right now to take action in 2024:

1) File to run for precinct committeeman and state delegate: We are one week away from the filing deadline, and this is the best way Republicans can get involved at the grassroots level. In order for us to continue to grow as a party, it is essential that all counties fill these local positions. Time is running out, the deadline is noon on February 9th to turn your paperwork in to your county clerk's office,  So please be sure to file your CAN-37 form before it's too late. Together, we will continue to build our party! 

2) Register for our 2024 Congress of Counties: Congress of Counties is just three weeks away, on February 23-24! Register ASAP! Registration closes at 5pm on February 19th. This two-day networking and training event for Indiana Republicans allows us to all come together and share the tools and skills that will make 2024 a successful election year. Be sure to go to our website for more details and to register! 

This is going to be an AMAZING year, and we want all Republicans to be a part of it. It is time to come together and take action!

Governor Eric Holcomb announced an $800 million investment by Meta to build a state of the art data center campus in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The new facility will support approximately 100 operational jobs and hundreds of construction jobs in the coming years. 

What he’s saying: “Today is a great day for Indiana and for our southeast region as we welcome another major investment to the River Ridge Commerce Center... Indiana’s efforts to cultivate industries of the future are already paying dividends for Hoosiers, attracting growth in critical sectors like data storage, semiconductors, energy and electric vehicles. We’re excited to welcome Meta to Indiana and look forward to the company’s partnership in growing Jeffersonville and the southeast Indiana region.”, Gov. Holcomb said in a press release.

What else happened this week? Gov. Holcomb announced the addition of early childhood education and child care credential training options under Indiana’s signature workforce training programs.

Chris Jensen, the Republican mayor of Noblesville, IN, was recently acknowledged by the IBJ for his transparent communication approach with constituents. Mayor Jensen regularly shares video updates online, addressing city issues for all residents to access. Notably, he makes his cell phone number publicly available, showcasing his commitment to being accessible to the community. 

Additionally, drawing from his own initial challenges in office, Mayor Jensen extends himself as a resource to neighboring city mayors. This collaborative approach showcases Republicans at their best when working together.

Mayor Jensen's open communication style and collaboration with fellow mayors serves as a model for mayors across the state.

Who do you think knows best when it comes to managing your finances? Democrats think they know better, but Republicans understand that nobody is going to know the needs of your family better than you!

Despite the constant overtaxing of citizens by the federal government and our neighboring states, they still can't seem to pay their bills! Meanwhile, Hoosiers have experienced constant TAX CUTS over the last 20+ years of Republican leadership, and we always balance our budget! 

Here's what Republicans have been doing to make sure Hoosiers have extra padding in their wallets:

• Estimated $20.6 Billion total savings for Hoosier taxpayers since 2011. This includes: 
  • $11.4 Billion in property tax credits.
  • $3.6 Billion in corporate tax cuts.
  • $2.6 Billion in individual income tax cuts. 
• Over $8.6 Billion in savings for Hoosiers in the last 3 years alone. 

In 2022, Republicans in Indiana passed the biggest tax cut in Hoosier history, cutting our taxes from 3.23% to 2.9% over a 7 year span. THEN, during the 2023 session, Republicans accelerated the timeline to a 2.9% rate by 2027.

The income tax cut to 3.05% in 2024 is estimated to save $100 MILLION for Hoosiers in ONE YEAR ALONE. 

The Party that has Hoosiers' backs, and protects their wallets, is the Republican Party. We understand the impact of Bidenflation on our day to day lives. Hoosier Republicans are just trying to ease that strain. 

Governor Eric Holcomb announced an additional $6.9 million in grants to support child care.

Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch congratulated 2A state football champions Bishop Luers when they stopped by her office.  

Secretary Diego Morales shared his story with the Latino community in Angola on Sunday.

Attorney General Todd Rokita joined Wreaths Across America in placing over 3 million wreaths on the graves of fallen veterans.  

Treasurer Daniel Elliot went on the Kendall and Casey show.  

Comptroller Elise Nieshalla met with the Indiana Federation of Republican Women (IFRW).

Senator Mike Braun called for term limits.

Senator Todd Young shared in the excitement with Hoosiers as news broke about the $800 million Meta investment in Jeffersonville.

Congressman Rudy Yakym shared his accomplishment of voting on every bill that went onto the house floor last year, accompanied by only 16 others.

Congressman Jim Banks honored the lives lost, on National Holocaust Remembrance Day. 

Congressman Jim Baird staff visited Jasper county to help Hoosiers navigate federal agencies. 

Congresswoman Victoria Spartz met with Young America's Foundation to discuss foreign policy with students.

Congressman Larry Bucshon Congratulated Phil Smith on being appointed Evansville Chief of Police.

Congresswoman Erin Houchin's met with Dave Stevenson, CEO of Reading Futures.
