Make Your Voice Heard in Springfield
Hello Fellow Climate Activists,
I wanted to highlight these Climate Related Witness Slips for energy and environment next week. ?By filing these witness slips, you can have an effect on your representatives and senators votes on the issues below. Please take the additional step of contacting your lawmakers about these bills to make sure your voice is heard.
Simply click on the link and file your witness slip! ?Instructions are at the bottom of the email.
The following bills will be called up for votes soon and you can tell your legislator how you feel about each. The witness slips only take a couple of minutes each to register your opinion. We have received these notifications through our membership/partnership with the Illinois Environmental Council(IEC) in Springfield.
Bills:
SUPPORT - HB1634 is our language requiring the IEPA to adopt the Advanced Clean Truck and clean car standards. ?

SUPPORT - HB4209 would change IDNR requirements to bring EV charging stations to state parks and increase the amount of solar that can be on IDNR owned land (Not conservation land, more like ag land and also it does require management practices in line with the Pollinator Friendly Solar Site Act) ?
File a witness slip as a proponent here.
SUPPORT - HB2363 would speed up the change from fluorescent bulbs to LED bulbs.
