Friend,

During one of the most tumultuous periods in American history, we all know that there is no “going back to normal” – nor should there be. Win the Era has been laser-focused on bringing people together around bold solutions to our most pressing issues.

Right now, our nation faces simultaneous crises on so many fronts – from climate change to democracy.

But there’s one crisis that we’re watching unfold in real time that can't be ignored – the state of reproductive healthcare and abortion access, particularly in states that have passed draconian abortion bans since the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Take Texas: Not only did they pass a near-total abortion ban, but a recent Texas Supreme Court case showed us just how meaningless their sole medical exception can be.

In December, the Texas Supreme Court told Kate, a Dallas mother of two, that she didn’t qualify for the medical exception. She didn’t qualify for the healthcare that could protect her ability to have children in the future – the healthcare her doctor said could save her life.

Because the extremists sitting on the bench of the TX Supreme Court didn’t think she was “close enough” to losing her life and her fertility.

How close is “close enough”? Two minutes? A few hours?

That isn’t justice.

Our friend in Texas, Gina Ortiz Jones – a longtime fighter for progressive values – is fed up with this situation, and today, she’s launching a new organization called Find Out PAC.

As in, extremist judges are about to find out what happens when they mess around with our reproductive freedoms.

This November, three extremists on the Texas Supreme Court – Jimmy Blacklock, John Devine, and Jane Bland – are up for reelection.

We have a chance – a responsibility – to send a message to them, to every other extremist judge out there, and to the rest of the country that messing around with our reproductive freedoms will cost you.

So Find Out PAC has launched with one goal, and one goal only: Defeat Jimmy, John, and Jane at the ballot box on November 5th.

Every person in our country should have access to the reproductive healthcare they need. They shouldn’t have to drive across state lines under the cover of night, spend hundreds of dollars on a flight across the country, or be worried about their Internet searches to get lifesaving care.

Everyone should be able to get the healthcare they need in their own state.

Split a donation of $20 or any amount you can right now between Win the Era and Find Out PAC to help get this crucial work going, defeat Jimmy, John, and Jane, and send a message to the entire country that we won’t stand for this. [[link removed]]

Until today, Jimmy, John, and Jane thought they were going to skate to reelection to the Texas Supreme Court.

But no one deserves a free pass – least of all these three extremist judges. With your help, we can hold them accountable for their actions.

Please, consider donating any amount today to Win the Era and Find Out PAC. [[link removed]]

Thank you so much.
