Dear neighbor, 

Our economy continues its strong, sustained growth under President Biden. This week the stock market hit multiple record highs, while our national GDP continues to grow as unemployment remains at historic lows. The January jobs report also far exceeded expectations: we added over 350,000 jobs last month, bringing total job creation under President Biden to over 15,000,000! Month after month, our economy grows thanks to the American people and President Biden. 

I joined House Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar (D-CA) at our weekly leadership press conference earlier this week to discuss House Democrats’ efforts to continue to deliver for Americans. Watch my remarks below. 

PHOTO OF THE WEEK: This week, I joined my fellow Co-Chairs of the House Bipartisan Task Force for Combatting Antisemitism to hear from Department of Education officials about their ongoing efforts to confront instances of antisemitism at educational institutions across the country. As antisemitism surges across the country, it is essential that we confront it wherever we see it. I am committed to rooting out antisemitism and hate in all forms. HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH! February is Black History Month, an opportunity to honor and celebrate the many voices and stories of Black Americans throughout our history. As we recognize the countless contributions of the Black community to our country, we also recommit to building a truly equal and just society for all Americans.
