It’s Black History Month and I want to reflect on the cultures and communities that help make New Hampshire great.

I am inspired by the stories, achievements, and resilience of Black community members who have played pivotal roles in shaping our nation's history.

This month serves as a poignant reminder of the progress we are making, the challenges we continue to face, and the importance of fostering a sense of unity and inclusion for everyone in our communities.

This month, I encourage us all to engage in conversations that celebrate the accomplishments of Black individuals and recognize the ongoing work needed to achieve true equality in our country.

Together, let's take this opportunity to reflect on the ways we can contribute to a more inclusive future for our state.
