The U.S. Senate is about to reach a deal on major changes to U.S.-Mexico
border policy, while also providing aid to Ukraine. Meanwhile, Donald
Trump and extremist MAGA Republicans are openly confessing that they never
actually cared about fixing the border, even after they spent years on the
issue to gin up hate against immigrants.
America needs a path forward, not more political rhetoric to create
division. Republicans would rather keep the border as is, so they can
continue to use it as an election issue, creating division and fear.
Democrats are fighting to pass legislation addressing our nation’s
challenges, including fair and comprehensive immigration reform. And,
that’s why Latino Victory is fighting to elect more Democrats at every
level of government.

Immigrants have always been the backbone of our economy. We must
recognize immigrants’ humanity and their contributions to our communities,
and country. As we look ahead, we must fight to ensure that these type of
discussions in the halls of power always include the voices of our Latino
elected officials who represent states with significant foreign-born
populations - and who also represent the values and diversity of our
community.
We will not stand on the sidelines and will call out MAGA Republicans who
use immigrants as fodder for their political purposes. [ [link removed] ]Will you stand
with Latino Victory and our communities?
