Public Accuracy Tests of the electronic equipment to be used in the Oakland County Absent Voter Counting Board (AVCB) as well as Early Voting (EV) for the February 27, 2024 election

AVCB: *Monday, February 5, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.*
EV (regional sites):* Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.*
EV (central site): *Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 7:00 a.m.*

*WHY:*
The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to verify the functionality, accuracy and security of the voting equipment to be used for the AVCB and early voting.

?Presidential Primaries are unlike any other election on our calendar and have some special rules to keep in mind. Voters will be required to select one of three ballot styles: Republican, Democratic, or a non-partisan ballot, if you have a ballot proposal,? said Oakland County Clerk/ Register of Deeds Lisa Brown. ?These Public Accuracy Tests are an important part of every election and a great chance for the public to observe, and hopefully learn about, our process.?

Proposals will appear on ballots in the City of Pontiac, the City of Walled Lake, Bloomfield Township, as well as Almont Community Schools, Lake Orion Community Schools, Rochester Community Schools, Romeo Community Schools, South Lyon Community Schools, and the West Bloomfield School District.
