While President Biden is carefully choosing the right response to the attack on our troops by an Iran-backed militia, Republicans in Congress are trying like hell to push us into full scale war asap. Don't let them do it. "Hit Iran now! Hit them hard!", demanded Lindsey Graham hysterically. And it just got more and more irrational from there, with Republicans trying to one-up each other on the craziness scale. The goal here should be to prevent a full-scale war, not run at full speed into it, while shouting "wheeeeeeeee!!!!" A war with Iran could cost thousands, or tens of thousands of American lives -- and possibly a lot more than that, given Iran's nuclear program. Republican need to shut the hell up, and let the adults figure out a way to respond properly and appropriately, Add your name, and demand that Republicans stop pushing us into full-scale war with Iran. |
