*What's New?*

In January, we had some exciting new updates that are now live on data.census.gov [ [link removed] ]. We can?t wait for you to see what?s new, including:


* *Introducing the New Print Button for Maps*: One of your top requested features is here! Users can now click ?*Print*? to create a PDF download of their map that is optimized for printing. The first page of the PDF provides the map and key labels, while the remaining pages of the PDF provide map notes. We hope that the addition of this new feature will enhance your experience, adding value to your interactions with our main data platform.
* *Improved Map Legend*: New updates to the mapping feature means you have more control over legend placement. Two new features allow you to move the legend around the map or collapse it all together for a cleaner look. Enjoy a more streamlined mapping experience!
* *Updated Layout of the Pop Story App: *Our latest update brings a fresh layout for both mobile and desktop users. Enjoy portrait mode with additional controls on each side for seamless app navigation. Explore the enhanced interface [ [link removed] ], thus making your experience smoother and more adaptable across all devices.
* Fixes to six defects including:
* Updated source statements for population pyramids in the Geography Profiles
* Ability to search for incomplete phrases in the filter panel search bars
* Corrected labels for geography names containing accent marks in table downloads

We are focusing our efforts on migrating data that was previously available on American FactFinder to data.census.gov and preparing for new data that?s releasing monthly.

With the upcoming release of 2020 Island Areas Cross Tabulations data, data users will be able to find data about people or housing units by characteristics like age, educational attainment, occupation, earnings and income, marital status, and over 50 other topics. Data will be released for American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
