Friend – We're excited to invite you to our virtual event, Criminal Justice Reform and D.C., on Tuesday, February 13 at 4 p.m. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights guarantee our individual rights, even when we are up against the full force and power of the government. This mismatch of power is particularly rife within the criminal justice system. On February 13, ACLU-D.C. experts will walk through the Constitutional amendments that protect people who are involved in the legal system. We will discuss how we have defended District residents in the past, as well as the threats to civil liberties we see on the horizon. Join us to learn how the ACLU protects your constitutional rights and how your involvement can ensure those rights are upheld as we build a more just and free D.C.
This virtual event is free and open to the public. ASL interpretation and closed captioning will be provided upon request. We look forward to seeing you there, ACLU of the District of Columbia |
