The Nebraska Department of Revenue, Property Assessment Division, has posted the 2024 Nebraska Homestead Exemption news release to the website. Homestead exemption information and forms are available on the Property Assessment Division website.
Homestead exemption applications for the 2024 application year may start being submitted to county assessors today, February 2nd. Applications must be submitted on or before July 1st, 2024 due to June 30th falling on a Sunday.
