Program That Helps Older Adults Afford Medicare Costs is at Risk

John, Congress is moving faster than we thought on Medicare funding legislation. We're reaching out to people we trust to spread the word to friends, family, and members of Congress.

The Medicare proposals being shopped around Capitol Hill do not yet include continued funding for the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers (MIPPA) program. This is a critical tool used by community-based organizations to help low-income older adults afford Medicare costs. Without this program, healthy aging is out of reach for millions of people.

Here are Two Ways You Can Help

1. Send a message to your members of Congress.

2. Encourage friends and family to act, too.
This issue likely won't make news headlines. Who better to spread the word and encourage others to act than someone they trust: You! Share our posts on Facebook [[link removed]] , LinkedIn [[link removed]] , X (formerly Twitter) [[link removed]] , or even forward this email to give this issue some traction.

This is a short window of opportunity. We expect Medicare discussions to be finished as early as Friday, Feb. 9. Don't wait to take action!

Thank you for being a valuable part of the grassroots movement to keep Medicare affordable for millions of people.
