Dear John,

It’s Groundhog Day 2024, but you may not know it when every day in the Republican Party sounds just like the day before as they circle through the same unpopular policies and talking points. 

Will you chip in $10, $25, $50, $100 or more and help us continue to push back against their claims?

If you ask me, these common GOP positions sound like the worst sequel to Groundhog Day ever:

• The 2020 election was rigged/stolen/fraudulent (despite all the evidence and court verdicts to the contrary)
• In Hartford and in DC, Republicans keep hammering on immigration  (yet they refuse to work with Democrats to find a solution)
• We’ve faced constant threats of a government shutdown
• National Republicans continue to take credit for securing infrastructure and broadband funds, yet voted against President Biden’s landmark funding packages
• Oh, and there’s the daily reminder that Donald Trump is their leader

In 2024, Democrats have the opportunity to break the doom-loop and end our version of Groundhog Day. But we need to invest in the groundwork now to ensure Democrats are elected up and down the ballot in November. Please consider making a donation today.
