Team,

Ten years ago today, President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law.

Right now, the ACA matters more than ever before. In this new reality created by COVID-19, access to healthcare is fundamental for our families.

Over the last ten years, more than 133 million Americans with pre-existing conditions have been protected. Over 20 million people have gained coverage. Millions of seniors and working families can now afford their prescription medicines.

The ACA is the closest we've ever come to universal coverage in America. But when we need it most, this lifeline is under threat.

Just yesterday, President Trump said that he will continue his lawsuit to "terminate" the entire Affordable Care Act.

We're leading the court fight to stop the President and his allies from taking away our healthcare -- and we are headed to the Supreme Court in the months ahead.

Team, when it comes to our health and well-being, failure is not an option.

As we mark the 10th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act today, our healthcare matters more than ever. And I promise you I won't stop fighting to protect it.

Stay safe, and stay healthy,

Xavier
