In Iowa & New Hampshire?

WG Economy | David Winston

January 31, 2024

From the Edison Research New Hampshire primary exit polls and Iowa caucus
exit polls, here is a brief summary of how the economy has played in the
GOP nominating process so far.

Iowa

In the Iowa caucuses, the most important issues were the economy (38%) and
immigration (34%). Both of those issues were strong for Trump (he won 52%
of economy voters and 64% of immigration voters). Foreign Policy (12%) and
abortion (11%) came in second tier of importance. Foreign policy was the

WG Economy: The Road To South Carolina

January 26, 2024

The Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primary are in the rearview mirror, as
Haley and Trump turn their attention to South Carolina a month from now

immigration issue. Haley has proven she has remarkable appeal for
independents and moderates - two key groups that many GOP candidates need
to improve with in order to build their majority coalition.

Alabama Political Reporter |Staff

January 25, 2024

State Senator Greg Reed R-Jasper, President Pro Tempore of the Alabama
Senate, has been re-elected to serve on the GOPAC Legislative Leaders
Advisory Board for 2024.

"GOPAC is the Republican Party's premier center for electing and educating
a new generation of Republican leaders. It is a force in American politics
and ensures a healthy roster of prepared and tested state leaders are ready
to lead in their legislatures," the organization stated.

"I am incredibly honored to be reelected to serve on the GOPAC Legislative
Leaders Advisory Board," said Senator Reed. "Ever since my first election
to the State Senate in 2010, it has been my number one priority to make
certain Alabama is the best place in our country to live, work, and raise a
family. It is also incredibly important that we ensure Alabama is
represented well and has a strong voice on the national stage when
important issues are discussed. There needs to be more Alabama, not less,
in America, and I am thrilled that we will continue to be able to tell our
success stories to other leaders across the country."
