John, The Sacramento Bee–a staple for the daily news in the Sacramento community–just endorsed Ami because he consistently leads with compassion and finds effective solutions for his constituents.
Here’s the bottom line: Ami’s humanistic approach to leading on issues such as housing and homelessness provides much needed resources. Those include housing vouchers, mental health resources, and substance abuse resources.
We need more leaders like Ami in Congress.
John, with the election just around the corner, Ami is looking to his supporters to make sure we get it—taking back the House in November.
The Sacremto bee described Ami as “a trusted advocate for national security, veterans and affordable health care, which includes abortion access.”
But here’s the thing, John: many of the extremist Republicans in Congress do not hold those values. Instead, they’ve shown over the past year in the majority that they’ll gladly neglect critical issues to score petty political points.
