Team, President Biden visited Michigan today because he won’t take our state for granted.

Just days after he received a strong endorsement from the United Auto Workers he wanted to get in a union hall in Michigan to stand with the working men and women we are fighting for every single day.

When the UAW was fighting for fair wages, strong protections, and its fair share, President Biden became the first President to stand with workers last fall on the picket line. He has always stood up for the working class and has been a real fighter for auto workers in Michigan. Trust me, we’ve never had a President fighting harder for labor unions and their workers.

President Biden put workers first when we passed legislation that will make America more competitive in the electric vehicle industry. Michigan put the world on wheels, and President Biden is working hard to create good-paying union jobs right here in our state.

It’s clear that President Biden, Democrats, and the UAW are the leaders standing up for the working class, despite what Trump and his MAGA extremists say. In fact, you know we’re doing something right because Trump has reserved some of his harshest criticism for UAW President Shawn Fain and me in recent weeks.

We need to be ready to set the record straight and turn out voters to elect Democrats so we can continue delivering for the working class.

Will you stand with me today and make a contribution so we can help Democrats win up and down the ballot in November? Your support today means we can invest in reaching voters with the facts before polls close in November.
