More than 21 MILLION* Americans have signed up for health care coverage through the Affordable Care Act marketplaces, thanks in part to my legislation!

In 2018 I came to Congress with a mission: to expand access to high-quality, affordable health care for people in Illinois’ 14th District and across the country.

I introduced the Health Care Affordability Act to lower health care costs and make Affordable Care Act marketplace plans more affordable than ever before. Three straight years of record-breaking enrollment prove that it’s working. We are delivering results. 

Thanks to the Health Care Affordability Act, four out of five people can find a plan for less than $10 a month, and the average enrollee in the 14th District will save $1,020 according to the Regional Leadership Council.

These are HUGE savings, and at a time when extreme conservatives are ripping health care away from millions of women, affordable health care has never been more important.

Congress must pass the Health Care Affordability Act and make these savings permanent!
