How to Change Your Address for Your FOID
*** ALERT ***
Some of you may be in the uncomfortable position of needing to change your address on your FOID Card and Your ICCL.
It is imperative that you change your address on your Driver’s License BEFORE you attempt a change on your FOID or your ICCL. Normally, one would go to the DMV and make that change but, as you may know, presently the Secretary of State’s Drivers License Facilities are closed.
There is a way for you to change your address on your Driver’s License and vehicle registration on line. You may click on this LINK to be taken to their site. Be very careful to be consistent and make sure everything you input is exactly the same so that there will be no issues as they match your credentials. Please note that it may take between 5 and 7 business days for your changes to take affect.
