Folks,

As we kick off February, I want to recognize the beginning of Black History Month —a time to honor and uplift the voices of those who have shaped our nation's history, culture, and character.

This month, let us listen to the stories that are too often left untold. And let us recommit ourselves to a more just and equitable society by honoring the efforts and achievements of generations of Black Americans.

Let us also remember that Black history is American history. This month and all year round, we must uplift the voices that are woven into the very fabric of our nation that make a difference in our communities every day.

As we celebrate Black Americans’ innumerable contributions to our nation, we will continue the hard work toward healing, equality, and justice – this day and every day.

Wishing you a meaningful and joyous Black History Month.
