Hey folks,

I feel silly for even *thinking* that DC Republicans might do ANYTHING
that would help working families.

This week, the House passed a bipartisan bill that would expand the Child
Tax Credit and bring as many as *400k* kids out of poverty.

Slam dunk, right? …wrong.

“Passing a tax bill that makes the president look good — mailing out
checks before the election — means he could be re-elected, and then we
won't extend the 2017 tax cuts.”

One of my Senate GOP colleagues *actually* said this *out loud* about a
bill that would HELP KIDS.

Look, I came to DC to help people and fight for Pennsylvania’s working
families — and our kids. I’ll never back down from that fight.
