** DEAR FRIENDS,
------------------------------------------------------------

January has been a busy month!

The San Diego Padres’ Rodeo did unfortunately happen at Petco Park. During the very first performance, a horse crashed into a fence at full speed and instantly collapsed. Although rodeo personnel claim the horse is OK, we are quite certain the horse died. SHARK president Steve Hindi has contacted the owner of the horse and offered to come and see the horse for himself. Predictably, the horse's owner is not responding, even though we know he received Steve's texts.

The rodeo veterinarian's report is frankly disgraceful, in that it gave no information whatsoever about the nature of the horse's injuries, treatment or prognosis. That is no accident. The rodeo is in full coverup mode. We are in full break-through-the-coverup mode. Watch as this story develops. We're not going to let the fake cowboys get away with what they've done.

Cockfighting season is back and we are hunting them down all over the county. Our main focus this year is Lee County Mississippi, which is home to three illegal cockfight pits. Thanks to our intense efforts in contacting county, state and federal agencies, and your calls, we successfully got two cockfights shut down last weekend. We can't thank you enough for fueling our efforts!

We have been in contact with various individuals and agencies in law enforcement and the judicial system, and so far, everyone seems to be shocked that cockfighting is happening in their county and state, and unhappy that the Sheriff is shirking his duties and allowing the fights to continue with the knowledge we have given him. Hopefully the Sheriff now has the message that cockfighting is NOT acceptable in Lee County. Now we are moving our efforts to Tippah County, where a cockfight is planned for this coming Saturday, February 3. We'll keep you updated on this important issue.

Mississippi is a work in progress, but we will not stop until the cockfights are ended.

On Tuesday, a great story came out of Kentucky television station WAVE about our efforts to stop cockfighting. You can view the article HERE! ([link removed])

I believe 2024 will be our most productive year of cockfighting so far. We are building momentum that is breaking through laziness and corruption more quickly than in the past. We are learning how to intensify our efforts. The Kentucky State Police seem to have finally started doing their jobs!

We are looking forward to a successful February, and even more success as 2024 progresses!
