John,

We recently asked you to share your priorities with our team — and Wes and Aruna are sharing their focus this legislative session to bring results to Marylanders.

Their agenda for the 446th legislative session lays out a plan that leaves no one behind. They are laser-focused on the issues that matter the most to Marylanders.

To accomplish this, we’re supporting a package of 16 bills during the session that will accomplish four goals. This session, the Moore-Miller administration is focused on making Maryland:

➡️ Safer
The Victim Compensation Reform Act
The Growing Apprenticeships and the Public Safety Workforce (GAPS) Act
The Center for Firearm Violence Prevention and Intervention

➡️ More Affordable
The ENOUGH Act
The Housing Expansion and Affordability Act
The Housing and Community Development Financing Act
The Renter’s Rights Stabilization Act
The Mental Health – Emergency Evaluation and Involuntary Admission Procedures and Assisted Outpatient Treatment Programs

➡️ More Competitive
The Pava LaPere Legacy of Innovation Act
The Critical Infrastructure Streamlining Act
The Transparent Government Act

➡️ The State that Serves
The Maryland Road Worker Protection Act
The Protecting Election Officials Act
The Caring for Public Employees in Safety Professions (CAPES) Act
The Families Serve Act
The Time to Serve Act

This legislative package will move Maryland forward and position us to win the decade. We must continue working in partnership to get these bills across the finish line.

Wes and Aruna are ready to fight tooth and nail for all of us — and we're grateful you’re on this journey with us.

Team Moore
