*BEGINNING FEBRUARY 1ST* The Bell County Water Control & Improvement District #1, the public water system provider for the City of Harker Heights will begin the annual disinfectant conversion process from chloramines to free chlorine. The conversion is scheduled to take place Thursday, February 1st through Thursday, February 29th. The disinfection is a critical part of the water treatment process.
