Uniting for South Africa’s natural heritage

To help better protect South Africa natural heritage, campaigners from EIA’s UK and US offices recently met with South African NGO Blood Lions and 20 traditional health practitioners to see if and how the conservation and traditional African medicine communities could find common ground to work together. As well as seeking a fuller understanding of their practices and of the challenges which are facing traditional medicine, we also sought to explain what it is that we’re trying to achieve as NGOs.
