Friend,
It’s amazing what love can do. Love has the power to transform lives, inspire communities, and ignite change. And beginning today, love has the power to create a better world for animals like never before.
When you join the Wild Side and become a new monthly donor before midnight on Valentine's Day, your first 6 monthly gifts will be matched thanks to a group of generous World Animal Protection supporters. For dolphins and other animals around the world, that monthly support could be lifesaving.
Dolphins are incredible animals known for being playful, intelligent, loving and sociable. These “fintastic” animals create lifelong friendships and live in pods with dozens of other dolphins. Their social and playful nature is an important factor in their cognitive development and key to them familiarizing themselves with other members of the group.

Sadly, over 3,000 dolphins live in captivity around the world. Reduced to performing tricks and shows, captive dolphins live in stressful conditions where noisy crowds and blaring music are the norm. Instead of playing, captive dolphins often float listlessly on the surface of the water - indicating they are bored and psychologically stressed. The smooth, featureless tanks dolphins are confined in give them no mental stimulation, no way to act out their natural behaviors, and no place to retreat from staring tourists.
World Animal Protection has been fighting to end dolphin and all animal captivity. Whether it’s partnering with marine wildlife heritage areas like the one off the coast of Santa Barbara or speaking out against the horrific conditions at the Miami Seaquarium, no animal should live in captivity.
Join us in our ongoing fight to move the world to protect animals, including dolphins, by becoming one of 100 new monthly donors before February 14. Your reliable support will ensure we have the resources we need to advocate for change, inform the public, and end animal suffering.
Will you commit to a monthly gift and become part of our Wild Side community today?
