Will you be joining Ged and his dog Louie in this year's Big Lent Walk?
Dear John,
Just like that, January is done and dusted for another year. Hello February! With Lent starting in just two weeks, now’s the time to sign up for the Big Lent Walk!
If you’ve not heard of it before, the Big Lent Walk is a challenge to walk 200km over the 40 days of Lent. Inspired by journeys made by those affected by poverty, climate change and famine, this is our way of fighting global poverty by raising money and walking together.
We’re excited to see that hundreds of walkers have already signed up for the Big Lent Walk. Some are walking on their own, some with friends, their parish or their school! Together, we’re all putting our best foot forward and walking 200km this Lent.
You could even walk with a four-legged friend! Read about Ged and Louie’s ‘Big Lent Walkies’ and how, together, they’ll be stamping out global poverty one paw-step at a time.
Need motivation?
If you're lacking motivation (we've been there), check out our new Big Lent Walk video to get you excited and share among friends and family!
This Lent, your sponsorship can help people, like James the fisherman in Liberia, feed their families for good. Read more about James’ story and how your sponsorship can make a difference.
Will you join us this year for the Big Lent Walk? Let’s tell poverty to take a hike!
