Introducing the PPIC Economic Policy Center
I am very pleased to announce the launch of the PPIC Economic Policy Center. Led by economist Sarah Bohn, the center seeks to inspire practical policy solutions that promote a robust, resilient economy—improving the prospects of workers, families, and businesses statewide. We gratefully acknowledge the James Irvine Foundation and the Blue Shield of California Foundation for their generous support of the center.

A new publication examines key economic challenges facing California and identifies strategies to address them. Priorities for California’s Economy: Building Prosperity explores important trends in the state’s labor market, looks at the major shifts that are shaping the state’s economic future, and highlights the kinds of policy choices that can help both workers and businesses to navigate transitions that are on the horizon.

You can stay up to date on the PPIC Economic Policy Center by signing up to receive its publications, blog posts, and event announcements. We also invite you to learn how to support this new center.
