Who Should I Vote For???

True Texas Project will never tell you how to vote!  We will, however, provide input for you to add to your own additional research.  Our Board and our local leadership teams work hard to vet candidates.  Then we vote to see which candidate we’d personally pick.  It doesn’t mean we necessarily like the candidate (sometimes we do, but sometimes we have to pick the lesser of all evils).  So a recommendation from True Texas Project really just means that out of the options in front of us, THIS is the person we’d vote for.  When our panel is unanimous in selecting a candidate AND we believe that candidate is highly likely to represent us well and not cave, then we’ll offer an endorsement.  Endorsements are rare.

Go to TrueTexasProject.com/Election2024 and scroll through the lists to see who we recommend.  They are alphabetical by county, and only contested races are included.  Votes were placed by the 7 members of our TTP Board for districts larger than the county (State Rep, State Board of Education, etc), while the local leadership teams made the decisions for everything at the county level and smaller.  For areas where we don't have TTP satellites, we utilized trusted resources in the area. Exceptions are indicated.

Is your county not listed?  We can at least help you with the races that will be on every GOP ballot in Texas.

STATEWIDE RECOMMENDATIONS
(on every GOP ballot in TX)

  • US Senator - Ted Cruz
  • RR Commissioner - Christi Craddick
  • Supreme Court Pl 4 - John Devine (endorsed)
  • Court of Crim Appeals Presiding Judge - David Schenck (endorsed)
  • Court of Crim Appeals Pl 7 - Gina Parker (endorsed)
  • Court of Crim Appeals Pl 8 - Lee Finley
  • Ballot propositions - yes on all

Print some flyers and pass them out to your neighbors! They print two to a page, and people have been eager to receive them.  They may know how to vote for President or Senate, but everyone struggles with judges and commissioners.  Blanket Texas with good choices, and let's celebrate some wins on March 5!
