CHAIR'S CORNER
Aloha Members of the Hawaii Republican Party,
I hope this message finds you well and inspires you to take action for the future of our beloved state and country. I am writing to you with a heart full of gratitude and determination after attending a Turning Point Convention and diving into the first day of the RNC Winter Meeting. The evening hosted by Texas RNC Committeeman Dr. Robin Armstrong was uplifting, setting the stage for what promises to be an amazing experience.
The first night was dedicated to the Faith Engagement Summit, a powerful reminder of the foundation upon which our great nation was built. Also in attendance is Hawaii's own RNC Committee Woman Laura Nakanelua, and we heard from impassioned speakers urging us to carry the message to our members, faith-based churches, and coalitions. Our country's history is based on faith, and our forefathers sought answers in the pages of the Bible.*
We find ourselves in a battle between good and evil, with forces attempting to strip God from the fabric of our nation. Without faith, the path ahead leads to more broken homes, ongoing morality issues, drug abuse, and drug-related deaths, further influence on our children and more. It is a disturbing reality that we may face, and we must stand firm against the encroachment of ideologies that seek to eradicate our spiritual foundation.
Communism, as we know, seeks to remove God and establish the government as the ultimate authority. We cannot allow ourselves to be dependent on a controlling government; instead, we must empower the people. United We Stand, not merely to win, but to uphold what is right and just.
To reclaim our state and country, we must start at the grassroots level. Strong candidates committed to the people and moral principles are essential. Citizens must step forward in service, not contributing to a disservice. We need to reflect on the direction of our moral compass, returning to the basics laid by our forefathers.
It is time for pastors and churches of all denominations to stand shoulder to shoulder with us. Let us reach out and discover which religious leaders are willing to unite for a common cause. For those seeking guidance, we can organize meetings with inspiring voices to encourage, inspire, and educate on how we can collaborate effectively.
We cannot afford to let the government dictate our beliefs or impose their chosen ideology upon us. Our rights, especially the freedom to choose our religion, are at stake. The destiny of our state is in the hands of the people...the grassroots. If we fail, it is because we have let ourselves down.
As we witness Hawaii being rated as the most corrupt state in the country under the Democratic watch, we must question the direction we are headed. There are more Hawaiians that live outside of Hawaii than living in Hawaii, Maui has faced the devastation of fires, and we must ask who holds the strings? Who is being compromised? We also need to ask, when is enough enough?
The time for action is now, for tomorrow may be too late. Let us join hands, united in purpose, and work tirelessly to preserve the values that define us. We, The People, have the power to effect change by getting involved, voting, and safeguarding our Republic. Remember, the fate of our state is in our hands, and together, we can build a brighter future.
There is hope.
