I know you’ve heard from me and my team quite a bit over the past couple of days. The honest truth is that midnight tonight marks an important fundraising deadline as we close in on March 5.

As it stands, we're a little short of our 1,000 individual donor goal to make sure we have the resources to contact every undecided voter before they receive their ballots.

I'll admit it, my least favorite part about campaigning for Congress is fundraising. I also don't believe for a second that money will be the most important factor in determining who wins this race.

But the fact is this is one of the most crowded primaries in the entire state. With so many competing voices in the field, we have to work harder to reach voters.

Every dollar translates into more ads deployed and more mail pieces sent out. But more importantly, your donation sends an important message that CA-30 is ready for home-grown, progressive change in Washington.
