I just stepped off the House floor, where I voted to pass the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024!
The Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act is a bipartisan measure that provides much-needed tax cuts to South Texas families and small businesses.
I am pleased to see that it includes an expansion of the Child Tax Credit, which will benefit millions of families across the country, including 78,000 children in TX-28 in the first year alone.
I also supported changes to the tax code that will help small businesses thrive, increase the supply of affordable housing, and create good-paying jobs for American workers.
This bill will make a real difference in the lives of families, small businesses, and all Americans.
