Another Democrat just entered the race to challenge the incumbent Rick Larsen. That’s GREAT news for our campaign to win over WA-02. Here’s why:

• As a Democratic candidate, the new contender only stands to pull votes away from the incumbent. That lowers the barrier we need to cross to win our spot in the Top Two primary.

• Popular incumbents don’t get primary challengers. This development proves that the appetite to replace Rick Larsen is growing.

• We are still the most progressive campaign in the race for this deeply progressive district, and our path to victory is wide open.

Ours is the ONLY anti-war, anti-corruption, pro-labor, pro-climate action, working-class campaign in the race to represent WA-02. This district is our best opportunity to make history and elect the first ever Green Party member to Congress to fight for our shared priorities. Can you donate today?

I’m not done with the good news yet! My team just confirmed a little while ago that we have officially beaten our December fundraising total – making January our best month of the campaign yet.

This month we officially kicked off our canvassing efforts, knocking doors in Bellingham and Everett to collect signatures and get on the ballot.
