Hi John,

Over the past few years, we've seen the climate crisis impact Oregon in countless ways — deadly wildfires, historic heatwaves, ice storms, and drought. We need climate action now to invest in renewable and sustainable energy so we can reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and mitigate the worst impacts of climate change.

My Republican opponent pretends to be a moderate but votes in lockstep with a party that denies the very existence of climate change. She voted to reduce the investments that had already been made in addressing the climate crisis here in Oregon.

D.C. insiders prefer candidates who accept corporate PAC money and are beholden to their special interests. That’s where I’m different.

I bring a problem solving perspective to getting things done. As an engineer, I believe in data-driven decisions. As a rural Democrat, I’m used to bringing people together to address our common challenges.
